Join us in Dakar for this new session of the Passing on the Baton series. In a fireside chat format, experts will share with young arbitration practitioners their respective experiences, the challenges they face and reflag the pitfalls to avoid to succeed as counsel in arbitration. A networking cocktail with close the event.
This ICC YAAF event will close the 3rd ICC Dakar Arbitration and ADR Day. It will be the opportunity to witness the passing of the baton by the current ICC YAAF representative in the region to the new representative recently elected for a two-year term.
Through sharing experiences of young arbitration practitioners, participants will learn about the specificities and challenges of arbitration consulting and discover the tools that will set you on the path to success. The fireside chat will be followed by a networking cocktail. It will be also the occasion to develop a network of knowledge sharing and interaction between practitioners with rich and diverse experiences.
This ICC YAAF event is aimed to young legal practitioners interested in arbitration and ADR in general and wishing to interact with their peers.
Open to those aged 40 and under, YAAF provides opportunities for individuals to gain knowledge, develop their skills and understand ICC’s arbitral procedure and other dispute resolution services.

Join us for the 3rd edition of the ICC Dakar Arbitration and ADR Day which will be preceded by the ICC Arbitration Academy. The theme of this major Arbitration and ADR event in Senegal and the region will focus on International Disputes involving States and State Owned Entities, a topic that concerns both public persons and their private partners and legal practitioners who support the economic players.
