Join us for an informative and engrossing legal discussion exploring Arbitrators' duty on disclosure at 11:00 a.m. (UTC+4) on 16 November 2023 at Dubai Arbitration Week 2023.
Objective/Who should attend?
The arbitrators’ disclosure of situations of potential conflict to the parties is seen as the cornerstone of the entire system of arbitration. As the arbitrators’ duty of disclosure is at the heart of controversial debates, arbitral institutions are playing an increasing role in shaping the scope of the duty of disclosure and providing further guidance to arbitrators for more harmony and predictability.
This event is the perfect opportunity to hear from leading arbitration practitioners, arbitrators, and in-house counsel on the arbitrators’ duty of disclosure and its potential impact on the integrity and fairness of the arbitration process. Key topics will be discussed such as the scope of arbitrators’ disclosure, the different standards of disclosure, the arbitrator’s continuing duty to disclose, and the co-existence of such duty with the confidentiality obligation.
Attendees will obtain a better understanding of the arbitrators’ duty of disclosure, gain invaluable knowledge and insights on how to best manage situations of conflict, and develop practical skills to navigate complex questions relating to disclosure.
Join us for what we expect to be a very lively and controversial discussion.
