Browse the list of sessions ICC is organising at the 19th Internet Governance Forum.
The Internet Governance Forum (IGF) is a global multistakeholder forum under the auspices of the United Nations that facilitates bottom-up discussion across all stakeholders on public policy issues pertaining to the Internet. The 19th IGF will be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 15 to 19 December 2024 in Riyadh at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center (KAICC). The meeting is held under the overarching theme of Building Our Multistakeholder Digital Future.
As the primary source for business input and de facto focal point for business at IGF, the ICC’s Business Action to Support the Information Society initiative (ICC BASIS) represents the priorities and perspectives of its global network for the 19th year running.
As the premier United Nations forum for the discussion of issues related to the governance of the Internet and digital policies, the IGF remains the most important international opportunity for the private sector to engage with other stakeholders and decision-makers.
Discussions evolve around how best to govern and utilise the Internet and digital technologies to enable economic and social development for everyone, everywhere.
By drawing upon the experiences and expertise of ICC’s global network, ICC BASIS brings together business experts to participate in these important discussions – sharing private sector perspectives, proposing business representatives as speakers and leading a delegation to promote policies on digital issues that impact companies of all sectors and sizes across the globe.
