The ICC International Court of Arbitration is organizing its annual pre-moot to help teams prepare for the 32nd Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
The ICC VIS Pre-Moot will be held in-person* from 2 to 4 April 2025 at the ICC Headquarters in Paris, France.
Teams were informed of the outcome of their application.
The ICC will invite experienced practitioners to act as arbitrators in the pre-Moot. They will evaluate the students’ performance and provide feedback.
The ICC VIS Pre-Moot will enable teams to:
- Measure up against and interact with other students from a wide range of different jurisdictions and legal systems;
- Receive comments from and interact with arbitrators from different professional, cultural and legal backgrounds;
- Practice and improve their advocacy skills;
- Refine and adjust their oral arguments before participating in the Vis Moot of Vienna; and
- Take this unique opportunity to visit the ICC in Paris, and interact with members of the Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration

Running from 2 to 4 April 2025, for 3 days, the ICC Vis Pre-Moot will welcome teams from across the globe to compete in simultaneous sessions the timing of which will be announced in due course.

When applying, teams are responsible to ensure that they have sufficient funding for their travel and stay in Paris. No sponsorship from the ICC is available in this regard. When submitting your application, please provide an email address or telephone number at which you agree to be reached to answer on an urgent basis any question related to your application. |
