Arbitration & ADR in Georgia and the Wider Region

14 Jun 2024

Tbilisi English and Georgian
Start: 09:30 (Tiblisi) - End: 17:30 (Tiblisi)

For the first historic time, the Arbitration and Mediation Rules of the International Chamber of Commerce, the world’s most trusted provider of dispute resolution services, are being published in Georgian, one of the oldest, original languages/alphabets of the world. To celebrate this special occasion, Alexander G. Fessas, Secretary General of ICC International Court of Arbitration and Director of ICC Dispute Resolution Services, will visit Tbilisi, and will be joined by many members and alumni of the Court and other distinguished dispute resolution colleagues from across the wider region spanning Eastern Europe, Baltics, Caucasus, Central Asia and beyond.

This conference will provide a comprehensive insight into the advantages of ICC's premier dispute resolution services, including the role and importance of the ICC Rules, as well as more broadly into the achievements and remaining challenges that arbitration and ADR still face in our part of the world.

Who should attend: All local, regional and international professionals involved in international trade and dispute resolution services: businesses, government representatives, in-house counsel, private practitioners, arbitrators and mediators.
