For agri-food businesses supplying the EU market, packaging is no longer only a product-design or waste-management issue: it is becoming a strategic market-access consideration.

From 12 August 2026, the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) began to apply, introducing a progressively more harmonised framework covering packaging design, recyclability, reuse, waste prevention and labelling requirements.
To help businesses anticipate what is coming, the International Chamber of Commerce Agri-Food Initiative is pleased to co-host, together with AGRINFO, the webinar:
“Unfolding the new packaging rules for agri-food operators supplying the EU markets”

The session will offer a practical overview of the main obligations ahead, the implementation challenges for agri-food operators, and strategies to prepare for the transition.

ICC Agri-Food Initiative seeks a practical exchange to facilitate: connecting businesses, national committees and expert partners so that regulatory change can be understood early, translated into action, and approached as an opportunity for more resilient and sustainable value chains.
We look forward to welcoming companies and partners from across the ICC network and beyond.
