03 Apr 2024

Bangkok English
Start: 10:30 (ICT) / 04:30 (CEST) | End: 12:00 (ICT)/ 06:00 (CEST)

With the rapid increase in infrastructure development across Southeast Asia and Thailand, construction and infrastructure disputes are on the rise. This event will address a range of hot issues, including project-specific disputes, the impact of diverse regulatory frameworks, and challenges in international arbitration arising from cultural and linguistic differences. The panel will explore multi-party dynamics, common contractual disputes such as delays, cost overruns,  quality concerns and emphasize the significance of expert witnesses. Additionally, the forum will also cover the enforcement of arbitration awards and the impact of political and economic variables, providing comprehensive insights for navigating these complexities in the construction and infrastructure sectors amid global economic fluctuations and political changes.

Open to those aged 40 and under, YAAF provides opportunities for individuals to gain knowledge, develop their skills and understand ICC’s arbitral procedure and other dispute resolution services.
