Join us at the historic, art-deco Design Exchange, on the former trading floor of the Toronto Stock Exchange, to tap the collective brain trust around the theme of "Navigating the Road Ahead: Overcoming and Embracing Change in International Arbitration."

The ICC Canada Arbitration Committee's long-standing annual conference brings together international dispute resolution practitioners, corporate counsel and arbitrators based around the world for interactive discussion and debate on cutting-edge topics in international dispute resolution, not to mention a hefty dose of merriment, libations and camaraderie among friends old and new.

The conference will kick-off with a joint YCAP and ICC Canada welcome reception at Fasken's offices from 6:00 pm until8:00 pm on 18 October 2023.

The main event will take place on 19 October 2023 from 8:00 am - 6:30 pm at the Design Exchange and will feature a keynote speech on artificial intelligence by John Weigelt, the National Technology Officer for Microsoft Canada, as well as panels, breakout sessions, a debate and a gameshow on:

- New developments in international arbitration from across the globe
- E-discovery and machine learning
- ESG and valuation damages
- Quantifying damages in mining and infrastructure arbitration
- Changing roles for arbitrators and counsel in blockchain, crypto and cyberverse disputes
- Diversity, inclusion and the elimination of bias
- Tips and advice from in-house counsel
- Access to justice
- Artificial intelligence
- Climate change and ESG

There will be lots of time for networking during breakfast, lunch, coffee breaks and the cocktail reception.

Dinner and an after party for ICC members will follow.

The AGM for ICC members will take place on 20 October 2023 at Torys' offices.
