19th ICC/USCIB New York Vis Pre-Moot

The International Chamber of Commerce's (ICC) office in New York and the United States Council for International Business (USCIB)/ICC USA are organizing their annual New York Vis pre-moot on Friday, 21 February 2025 to help teams prepare for the 32th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.

Teams are invited to submit their application via the registration link. The organizing committee will start the selection process after the closing deadline: Monday, 25 November 2024. Teams will be informed by Friday, 6 December 2024 of the outcome of their application.

The organizing committee will invite experienced practitioners to act as arbitrators in the pre-moot. The practitioners will evaluate the students’ performance and provide feedback.

The ICC/USCIB New York Vis Pre-Moot will enable teams to:

  • Measure up against and interact with other teams,
  • Receive comments from and interact with arbitrators from different professional, cultural, and legal backgrounds,
  • Practice and improve their advocacy skills,
  • Refine and adjust their oral arguments, and
  • Interact with members of the Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration
