ICC Institute Training on “Oral Advocacy in International Arbitration: The Good, the Bad and The In Between”

This advanced training will cover the topic of oral advocacy in international arbitration through a mix of presentations, small case scenario groups and question and answers.

Topics covered by the programme 

  •  Oral versus written advocacy: counsel and tribunal perspectives. 
  • Oral advocacy, party autonomy and the determination of the facts of the dispute: the opening statement at the hearing (followed by case scenarios).
