Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists (CDCS) | LIBF

The Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists (CDCS) | LIBF is recognised worldwide as a benchmark of competence in documentary credits.  CDCS enhances the understanding of the complex issues associated with documentary credit practice.

What is the London Institute of Banking & Finance (LIBF)?
LIBF (previously IFS) exists to advance banking and finance by providing outstanding education and thinking, tailored to the needs of individuals, business and society. LIBF focuses on lifelong learning: equipping individuals with the knowledge, skills and qualifications to achieve what they want throughout their career and life.

How do ICC and LIBF collaborate?
There has been a long history of collaboration between our two organisations, during which we have developed four, internationally recognised, trade finance qualifications.  Collectively these qualifications are studied in over 90 countries and the numbers continue to grow.

All LIBF’s trade and transaction banking qualifications are self-study and can be studied online.

Registration is open all year round and candidates have 12 months from registration date to complete the module and sit the exam.

A multiple-choice exam assessment is available at any Pearson Vue test centres globally.
