Building on Introduction to Guarantees this course provides more important coaching on the issuance of guarantees, the use of counter guarantees and more complex transactions. Additionally, this course will take a much closer look at the global standards, legal framework, and the proper application of Guarantees from all sides. This online course includes real-life details and a case study to assist the learner in gaining a better practical understanding of the use of Guarantees on a daily basis.

This eLearning course is part of the Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP) certificate and includes a self-assessment tool to help you prepare for the final examination of the CTFP.

However, please note you will only be able to take the final exam and receive the certificate, if you purchase the full Certified Trade Finance Professional course. You will not be able to take the exam if you make multiple, separate purchases of individual courses that together make up the CTFP.

The pass grade for the CTFP exam is set at 70%.

Andrea Hauptmann Joined Raiffeisen Bank International (former RZB) in September 1984 after a short postgraduate study in Cambridge, UK, working in the documentary department on import/export LCs and since 1988 on bank guarantees; took over responsibility of the guarantee business in 1991, was appointed Director in 1997 and Senior Director in 2000.
