ICC YAF together with the YCAP (Young Czech Arbitration Professionals) are jointly organizing a discussion on the role of third-party funding (TPF) in international arbitration on the eve of ICC Prague Arbitration Day 2022.
In the last years, TPF has rapidly developed as a means for an impecunious party to access justice as well as a convenient risk-sharing mechanism for cash-rich companies. Despite this devolvement, TPF remains a black box for many professionals. We will discuss TPF in a practical format of a case study from the angles of different stakeholders.
