ICC YAF: S.O.S Emergency Arbitration

EMERGENCY ARBITRATION will explore the main features of emergency arbitration and its practice across the globe, with a focus on regional developments, including the recent regulations to the Ecuadorian Arbitration Law.

This event will inaugurate the XI edition of the National Arbitration Competition of Ecuador, organized by Centro de Arbitraje y Mediación de la Cámara de Comercio Ecuatoriano Americana AMCHAM, Universidad de las Américas (UDLA) and Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ).

The session will also prepare the participants for the competition as this year’s mock case is based on an emergency arbitration proceeding. Our speakers will identify strategic considerations and practical tips that parties and counsel may want to consider when entering an emergency arbitration.
