ICC YAF: Networking Breakfast - Notable Career Transitions in ADR

ICC YAF is delighted to host a networking breakfast focused on the inspiring stories of the leading arbitration and other ADR practitioners who challenged the assumptions about the typical path to a successful career in dispute resolution - followed their passions - and dared to make a career-transitioning decision.

Join our networking breakfast event for a chance to mingle with fellow Baltic Arbitration Days participants over morning coffee and learn what it takes to make a career transition in dispute resolution.

The event will cover three inspiring stories:  

• Gisela Knuts, who stunned the Northern European market by announcing her departure from her role as head of Roschier’s Helsinki office to practise as an independent arbitrator;
• Olga Hamama, who, after a successful career with one of the Big Law firms in Germany, co-founded a boutique law firm V29 Legal and most recently co-founded the United For Ukraine, which is an international NGO that leverages the power of technology, knowledge, network and unprecedented spirit of Ukrainians to provide emergency relief and to rebuild a new strong Ukraine, the cradle of Contemporary Democracy and Modern Economy.
• Eveli Lume, who will share tips on ‘career multitasking’ and managing different hats: of a lawyer, lecturer, mentor, manager and a mum, while keeping sane. Eveli will also talk about becoming a partner before 40 outside of your home jurisdiction.
