The ICC YAF Latin America Chapter invites you to a boxing style webinar consisting in 3 rounds of hot topics in international arbitration.

This webinar consists of three rounds, each with the participation of two expert lawyers in international arbitration and an arbitrator. Each round will focus on a question where one lawyer will present the pros and the other will present the cons. The arbitrator will evaluate and choose a “winner” and explain his reasoning. The audience will also have the opportunity to choose their “winner” through an online poll.

The topics that will be debated are the following:

  • The viability of an emergency arbitrator in an Investor-State arbitration
  • The possibility to extend arbitral agreements to third parties on the basis of the conduct
  • The possibility to celebrate virtual hearings without prior consent of all the parties in the dispute
