Join us for this one-hour webinar, which will provide a brief introduction to the international arbitration practice in three countries in Africa (South Africa, Nigeria, and Kenya).  

The topics will include: high-level overview of the legal framework and the general process of an arbitration proceeding in those three countries; requirements to act as counsel in those countries; what is the most unique or important process in the arbitration proceedings and related court proceedings; what are the common interim applications?

The Webinar will be held online and the dial-in info will be provided at a later stage.

Who should attend?

The webinar is targeted at Asia in-house counsel of state-owned companies with significant investments in Africa. Also, students or young arbitration practitioners who are interested in arbitration practice in different jurisdictions are also welcome to join the webinar.
