ICC YAAF: Repeat appointment of arbitrators: much ado about nothing?

While considered as a widespread practice, the repeat appointment of arbitrators generates many challenges in the field of arbitration. Issues related to the independence and impartiality of the arbitrator, the scope of the arbitrator’s duty of disclosure and the risk of annulment of the award will be discussed from both the counsel and institutional perspective.
