21 Jun 2023

Toronto English
Start: 16:30 (ET) | 22:30 (CEST) || End: 19:00 (ET) | 1:00 (CEST)

Join our speakers as they address how the Canadian courts have handled recent (and sometimes controversial issues) in respect of set aside applications under the UNCITRAL Model Law.

During this panel, speakers will address topics surrounding application of the UNCITRAL Model Law in Canada. These include how the courts have handled bias in the context of failure by an arbitrator to disclose new mandates, the admission of new evidence that was not before the tribunal, and the proper standard for assessing procedural fairness. The panel will be followed by a networking and cocktail reception.
