Join us for the second session in our monthly afternoon chat series with Japan-based arbitration lawyers. Hear their professional journey, how they became involved in arbitration, and tips for young lawyers looking to work in the international dispute resolution field.

We are delighted to have Coffee & Conversation with Carlotta Bruessel, a Senior Associate at Nishimura & Asahi in Tokyo, Japan.  

This bilingual (English and Japanese) series is ideal for Japanese and foreign qualified lawyers and law students. Speakers, will share their knowledge and experience on arbitration and alternative dispute resolution matters. Each session will explore a different theme or topic related to dispute resolution.

In this session, Ms. Bruessel will be sharing her experience as a dispute resolution lawyer, from when she became involved in the arbitration field, her experience.

She will also share her tips for working in English and across different cultures, and suggestions for young lawyers to become involved in international arbitration.

Following the discussion, participants will be able to ask questions (in either English or Japanese).
