Join us the evening before the 18th ICC New York Conference on International Arbitration for a special YAAF event highlighting the global network’s U.S. origins.
Before ICC YAAF became the global network that it is today, it was created by a driven group of young professionals seeking to serve and provide resources for the next generation of U.S. arbitration leaders as the USCIB (ICC's U.S. national committee) Young Arbitrator Forum. In this centenary year of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, pannellists will look back at the roots and impact of YAAF in the U.S., and how the ideas of a small group of U.S. arbitration practitioners in the early 2000s have changed the lives of individual practitioners and the arbitration & ADR community more broadly. Additionally, the panelists will look forward to ways that we, the arbitration & ADR community, can continue to support young arbitration & ADR practitioners and grow the field.
Open to those aged 40 and under, YAAF provides opportunities for individuals to gain knowledge, develop their skills and understand ICC’s arbitral procedure and other dispute resolution services.
What is ICC YAAF?
At ICC, we believe that through training and mentorship, we can mould the next generation of leading international arbitration and ADR experts. Through the ICC Young Arbitration and ADR Forum (YAAF) network, we are able to better inform, connect and inspire young professionals with interests in dispute resolution and dispute avoidance.
Throughout the world, ICC YAAF organises a number of educational and social events that allow young professionals to discover best practices, discuss topical issues, network and create meaningful connections with experienced practitioners.
