For this second edition of their joint conferences, the ICC Africa and ICC Belt & Road Initiative Commissions will host a webinar during which the aftermath of Chinese investments on the African continent will be examined and future developments will be assessed.
This event is organised on the occasion of the 5th ICC Africa conference on international arbitration. The first panel will discuss major projects of the Belt & Road Initiative in Africa, examining the disputes that have arisen from the said projects and the dispute resolution mechanisms adopted by the parties. The second panel will focus on the evolution of the Belt & Road Initiative in Africa and the speakers will offer their views on the key elements to be considered in managing potential disputes arising out of the new BRI health and technology transactions in Africa.
