How to effectively manage arbitration: Modern and Innovative Approaches to case management

ICC Prague Arbitration Day is a unique one-day conference organised in the heart of Central & Eastern Europe that focuses on topical issues in arbitration. The event builds on previous successful conferences in 2019 and 2018, each having hosted over 100 attendees from dozens of countries.

ICC PAD 2020 will cover topics such as cost efficiency, settlement, modern technology and role of public entities.

This year, we will discuss topics such as how to manage the arbitration process to make it more efficient from the result and cost perspective. We will discuss tools to make communication more effective and smooth, recent technology advancements that can assist in building a legal argument but that can also save time and labour to cut down costs of running the arbitration process etc. We will further discuss the settlement process and lessons learned from specific cases. The other area to be discussed will be the role of public entities in the arbitration process. We will focus on recent cases and take-aways to implement or avoid in future arbitrations.

Panel 1      Cost efficiency: How to reduce the costs of arbitration?

Panel 2      Leading the parties to a settlement
