Melbourne and online English
Start: 8:00 (Melbourne / AEDT) | 22:00 (CET) || End: 10:00 (Melbourne / AEDT) | 24:00 (CET)

Join us at this event to learn more of ICC’s endeavours to promote and improve diversity and inclusion in all corners of the world.

In order for arbitration to be a viable dispute resolution mechanism it must be a true reflection of the diverse world in which we live.  Diversity and inclusion not only demand the inclusion of all genders but also demand ethnic or cultural diversity, LBGTQIA diversity and disability inclusion amongst other forms of diversity and inclusion.

The ICC is committed to ensuring professional, cultural and gender diversity in arbitration. In this session we will discuss the steps the ICC has taken to improve gender diversity in recent years.  We will also discuss the ICC's goals and plans to broader issues of diversity and inclusion to include ethnic or cultural diversity, LBGTQIA and disabilities, including the new ICC Taskforce on Disability Inclusion in Arbitration.  Further, we will discuss how the arbitration community can assist with improving diversity and inclusion.
